¶ Completely erasing the TCU and starting from scratch
ONLY do this in the event the TCU gets stuck in a bootloop as a last-resort. You will loose everything stored on the TCU (Adaptations, calibrations, settings, etc)
¶ You will need
- Visual studio code installed (This is NOT the same as visual studio)
- PlatformIO extension installed for VSCode
- A copy of the firmware source code downloaded, this can be downloaded from here
¶ Steps
- Open up the source code folder in VSCode, after installing the PlatformIO Extension
- Modify the
platformio.inifile such that the settingsupload_portandmonitor_portreflect your TCUs COM/Serial port - Under the PlatformIO Extension bar, open up the
Unifiedfolder, and click under thePlatformoptionsErase Flash
- Wait for the process to complete, this may take a few seconds to up to a minute
- Now upload the new firmware. This can be found under the same menu as
