Since FW 19/10/23, these settings exist based on dumps of OEM EGS52 modules to allow for better out of the box experience.
These settings will likely have to be manually entered based on trial and error until a community database is formed. Settings here depend on part numbers WITHIN any 722.6 (Even if the gearbox itself has the same part numbers!)
There are currently 5 calibrations to choose from (2 for small NAG, and 3 for large NAG). For each calibration table, the maximum theoretical torque has been calculated for both hydralic variants (See below).
The vast majority of users with small NAG should select this table
Gear | 7700mBar valve body | 9700mBar valve body |
---|---|---|
D1 | 337Nm | 425Nm |
D2 | 398Nm | 501Nm |
D3 | 652Nm | 822Nm |
D4 | 429Nm | 541Nm |
D5 | 516Nm | 650Nm |
R1 | 256Nm | 323Nm |
R2 | 417Nm | 501Nm |
This is the weakest calibration found on EGS. According to SCN coding data, this variant was ever used on cars that came with the M111 or M271 engine.
Gear | 7700mBar valve body | 9700mBar valve body |
---|---|---|
D1 | 186Nm | 235Nm |
D2 | 298Nm | 376Nm |
D3 | 489Nm | 616Nm |
D4 | 322Nm | 406Nm |
D5 | 387Nm | 487Nm |
R1 | 186Nm | 235Nm |
R2 | 298Nm | 376Nm |
This appears to be the weakest version of large NAG (But only by a 1-2 Nm)
Gear | 7700mBar valve body | 9700mBar valve body |
---|---|---|
D1 | 279Nm | 352Nm |
D2 | 461Nm | 580Nm |
D3 | 816Nm | 1028Nm |
D4 | 537Nm | 676Nm |
D5 | 645Nm | 813Nm |
R1 | 280Nm | 353Nm |
R2 | 461Nm | 580Nm |
Vast majority of large NAG users should select this variant
Gear | 7700mBar valve body | 9700mBar valve body |
---|---|---|
D1 | 280Nm | 353Nm |
D2 | 461Nm | 580Nm |
D3 | 816Nm | 1028Nm |
D4 | 537Nm | 676Nm |
D5 | 646Nm | 814Nm |
R1 | 280Nm | 353Nm |
R2 | 461Nm | 580Nm |
This is the strongest variant of large NAG. It is known that this variant is used in AMG cars (And the SLR Mclaran).
If you are using this variant in an AMG car, you have the 9700 mBar valve body.
Gear | 7700mBar valve body | 9700mBar valve body |
---|---|---|
D1 | 350Nm | 441Nm |
D2 | 576Nm | 725Nm |
D3 | 979Nm | 1233Nm |
D4 | 644Nm | 811Nm |
D5 | 775Nm | 976Nm |
R1 | 350Nm | 441Nm |
R2 | 576Nm | 725Nm |
At this point, there are only 2 settings known to exist.

- DefaultSet1
- Higher force K3 release spring. If you are experiencing a 3-4 flare and a very long 3-2 downshift when coasting, it may be worth trying this spring set out to see if it helps releive the problem.Set 0 (7700mbar) should be used by everyone, unless you have a M275, M285 (Maybach), or M113K engine
